Lehigh Valley Coal Co. #126 at WVRR

Started off in Metamora as it pulled in. Also got a cab tour and talk-through and chased it to the Laurel Dam. After that, we came back to Metamora and met the steamer at US-52.

Also, anyone from WVRR could PM me, I have a couple pictures with crew members in front of 126 if desired.

That coal looks quite a bit better that the coal the 587 used to get. Pulverized Steam Coal doesn't burn too well in a locomotive. Too much just floats up out the stack....

I recall a crew member begging the train gods for just one load of Pocahontas coal....

;D  I took the same shot of the headlight yesterday!
Your photos are much better as 126 was under steam.  My shots are of a cold locomotive. :(
