TP&W and KBSR frequencies
« on: April 14, 2012, 12:31:58 AM »
When I was in Lafayette last weekend it dawned on me that I don't have frequencies for the KBSR or TP&W loaded in my radio.

RadioReference has the following:

KBSR AAR07 160.215 Road
KBSR AAR92 161.490 Yard

TPW AAR80 161.310
TPW AAR86 161.400

But it would be nice if someone could confirm which channels are actually in use.

Thanks in advance!

Scott

At least in 2005 KBS was still using 07.

Tip-Up was using 161.400 as of last weekend when I heard them in Watseka.

Excellent. Thanks, gentlemen.

Only having 64 channels to work with tends to make me a little stingy when allocating them!  ;)

Anybody else notice the RR band radio skip today?  Northern part of the state at least I can vouch for.  Maybe sunspots?
