Conrail unit is painted.

Looking good!  I guess this was done at Altoona?
Cheers, Al

They say the EMD units are being done at Muncie as we speak.  There was a Primer unit out back yesterday, not sure if that was a NS unit or not though.

Did the "practice unit"  first I see,  when they bring out the fallen flags that made up Conrail,  that'll be worth seeing.

I wish they would have went old school with that unit and spelled it like it was in the beginning, ConRail.

The reason they changed it from ConRail..... is the reason you won't see NS use that logo. Con is slang for CONVICTS. That was the reason it's Conrail. LOL.

I noticed today that NS has added the Penn Central unit to the heritage list,

http://www.nscorp.com/nscportal/nscorp/Media/images/heritage_images.html

Is this a mistake or will there actually be 19 heritage engines?

Yay!  I may be the only one, but I look forward to seeing that unit in service.  The worm has definitely turned...

Forgive me if this was already posted and I missed it, but NS 8098, the Conrail Heritage unit has been completed. I came across a pic of it on Facebook, thanks to Athearn. Rich in SW IL.

Proves you can't call yourself a thoroughbred without the proper pedigree and they have it.
