New Antenna for Muncie ATCS server
« on: July 28, 2011, 03:35:24 PM »
Thanks to some help from Mini Cooper and CIOR we were able to upgrade the ATCS server to a 6DB antenna.

The server is getting killed right now by a misconfigured NS MCP at the moment, but even with this the reception is better.

Shawn.
If in doubt, Notch it out!

I have noticed the increase in the area that we are able to pick the data transmissions from. So far I have picked up (on ch6) W. Kingsland, Bluffton, W. & E. Montpelier and even W. Noell on a more regular bases. The heat today is really messing with the signals we are able to receive. I really can't wait for the cooler weather to start. It will be interesting to be able to see what we will be able to get...
