Some very good ducting this morning. Hearing far away stuff on the radio plus the entire CE&D sub is lit up on ATCS!  Very cool to watch this little trick of nature!

We had our entire ATCS display lit, minus CP78 in Marion on the Branch (which we have never seen lit!).
Turned on the radio and heard a train calling signals on the hill at Sidney Ohio and sounded like a NS train calling triple nickle (which is south of Eaton Ohio)  not bad for my place.

CP-78 doesn't have an antenna or radio yet, it's still the old way CR had them wired
If in doubt, Notch it out!

This was one of those late morning ducts.

I just replayed the capture from it.

Didn't start ducting till 6:30am and went till almost 9:30am
If in doubt, Notch it out!

Brewer yardmaster comes in here most all of the time in the mornings and at night.  Lafayette frequently gets mad at him and tells him to shut up.

hah..... the NS on 161.070 on the Marion Branch and the IB dispatcher on 161.070 get into it a lot.

Used to be worse when the Indy Terminal was on 161.070.
If in doubt, Notch it out!

Foggy skip this morn.    K387 was in Carlisle siding and toned up the SB dispatcher. SB could hardly hear them so K387 gave their location as Carlisle siding. SB replied, "My goodness! You came in on the Evansville Tower"! Thats a distance of 75 miles.   SB changed to the Paxton tower and could hear them fine.  ;)

As of late I have been listening to NS Dispatch in Bluefield, Wv! Of course this is mixing with the New Castle district from time to time. And also heard some other weird stuff on the Audio server here.
