Monon, somewhere between Indianapolis and Monticello. Or possibly somewhere around Bedford.

That wasn't Monon that I know of.  But even if it was Monon, no.

That's almost as vague as my guess :D  I'll add that I'm 90% sure it's west of US 31 too.

Here's a hint:  It is on the Monon, North of Indianapolis, and it's connected to an active route.

Yes, Southeast of town.  It's the old Monon lead that is still there from the Monon main, through Andersons, and over to the Wabash.

I won? :o ???
I surveyed the Anderson's property about 10 years ago.  That photo does not look how I remember.  I recall a much deeper fill.  Of course, I might have been distracted by all the trains flying by on the ex Wabash. ;)

Sorry about the delay, the railroad keeps me busy.  But yes, you won.  Here are a couple more of this piece of track.

Does stone still load on the Monon remnant north of town (Delphi?)  Trains are identified as 62J & 63J on NS (exWabash) and then up the Marion District to Bristol & return.

OK so checked out google maps and can't find location. What is name of nearest road to first picture? What is name of road with gravel pile on rails nearby?
