"Circle Line"
« on: March 16, 2011, 10:55:12 AM »
I often hear  "Circle Line" with a number mentioned on the CSX radio traffic from time to time. At least I think they are saying "Circle Line". In old age when your hearing starts to deteriorate then sometimes it is difficult make out what they are saying. I was just wondering what section of track around Indy they are referring to. I've gotten interested in putting actual locations with the names that are used by the dispatchers etc to describe those locations. I've been putting notes on a Google map as I pick them up. Makes it more interesting to know where they actually are.

Shelbyville-1st RR in IN: 7/4/1834. 1st RR abandoned in IN: K&S RR 1854, 26 miles. Making IN RR history. Without photons photography would be a black art. You can never get cornered in the Roundhouse.

Its like "Check Box"

Its just circling the number for the line of text your using to function on that track.
