Diesel Throttle Time at HVRM
« on: March 06, 2011, 12:17:04 AM »
Here's a rare treat to operate a diesel locomotive at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson. Receive a full hour of supervised engineer experience, general instruction in railroad safety and locomotive operation before putting your own train together and heading out of town on the former C&O mainline. Highball your train just like a real engineer - ring the bell, sound the horn and operate the controls! The program fee is $175.00.

Reserve your seat in the cab for this limited opportunity by purchasing this special guest engineer package on our website:

We still have a couple of slots open if anyone is interested in operating EL 310 out on the C&O mainline.

Are you doing this other dates than the 30th of April?  This is something I'd love to do! Talked to you folks at a couple shows this year.

Right now, we only have April 30th scheduled for Diesel Throttle Time. Of course, guest engineer slots are available on most Saturdays, but it's only 30 minutes in the yard compared to a full hour hour on the mainline.
