*Spotted* NS covered wagons Hunt. dist.

While I was out watching the world turn, NS 556 called diverging clear at Peru Junction approx. 512am 9/16.

It was headed westbound (thats right, westbound) with NS 4270 a unit, NS 4275 b unit, and one exhibit car. As of 526am, it was still in Peru yard office waiting for the new crew to take over.

Lookout, Illinois division!!! 8)

I don't have a clue on route names for NS.  It's going where?

Left Peru about 600am, and yes, it is headed toward Lafayette. Good luck with it!

Huntington Dist. is NS main from Peru northeast through Ft. Wayne then to Montpelier, OH.

Illinois division starts at west Peru and heads towards Layfayette then to Decatur, IL. I think it is called the Lafayette dist., but if not, someone will correct me.

Well, I'm in Crawfordsville and there is no sign of an active sun rise so I decided against it.  Thanks for the heads up though.

From Peru to DEcautur is the Lafayette District and from Peru to Montpelier it is the Huntington District. So yes you got it right!!!
