ES&N traction station in Chandler indiana
« on: February 16, 2020, 12:11:27 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has any info on this little brick station. I'm constantly updating my site about the ES&N and I've always wondered about this station.

I have many photos of the station when it
Was in operation but the brick station on state street doesnt really have much resemblance to the original. I've always been curious if it was rebuilt or if that building is actually the station.

It does sit on the original right of way and I cant think of anything else it could have been. I dont recall a sub station being located in Chandler.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone had any info.

Thanks, Tim

I've always been told it was the original, but don't have any other evidence other than word of mouth to back that up.

it is legally listed by the surveyour as "chandler depot" built in 1910. I'm gonna safely assume that is legit.
