And what would the S stand for? Canadian National System? As in Chessie System?

When Chessie started we had the Chessie Cat, then the Family Lines came and we had the Family Cat.  With the CN merger we would have the National Cat.

If it was CP and CSX getting together, we could have a beaver cat.

Or maybe the Cat in the Hat....and the RRs become Thing 1 and Thing 2.   :D
If it moves or makes noise...I'm interested!

You could call it Canadian Nation South. That way you separate the Canada National in Canada from the US. Two CN, North and South. North is just CN or CNC For CN Canada, The US is CN South, or CNUS.

In this day and age, One thing is for sure. You can Expect the Unexpected. You just do not know what Tomorrow will bring. No Job is Safe. No Matter where you work. Just when you think that your Job is Safe, You go in only to find out you have been Laid Off.

Just dump a box of Scrabble tiles out on the floor at that point. There's your new acronym.

That actually flows much better - so they'd go with the bowl-of-alphabet-soup-with-encryption name instead
