Butch's Railroad Maps Site
« on: April 07, 2019, 11:49:16 PM »
This winter's project was to create an interurban railroad site that lists all historical interurban railroads in Indiana and provide maps, historical info, remnant locations, and historical photos for each system.  I created a "table formatted" and a "map formatted" site.

Link to table formatted site:  https://sites.google.com/site/historicalindianainterurbans/

Link to map formatted site:  https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1lfXdiPJMpLlg16314Gwje6k85gE62ohS&ll=40.05235761884125%2C-85.67908898437503&z=7

Neither site is trivial to navigate, so written instructions and video demonstrations may be accessed from my Butch's Railroad Site:  https://sites.google.com/view/butchsrailroadmaps/home

Wow! Did not know Vincennes had that much track in town.  Great map!  Thanks!

"Fort Wayne-Kendallville/Waterloo (constructed 1906, discontinued 1937)"

The line from Fort Wayne to Garrett lasted until 1945 for freight.
