Noblesville Meet
« on: January 23, 2019, 01:13:32 PM »
The time is rapidly approaching for the CIDís first train show of the new year. The Noblesville Train Show is scheduled for Sunday, January 27th and can be found at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall, 2003 Pleasant Street in Noblesville, Indiana (just west of 37 and behind the Tractor Supply store). There will be lots of model train locomotives, rolling stock, modeling supplies, structures, and scenery supplies for your consideration so this might be the right time to purchase that Christmas gift for yourself that you did not receive from the family/friends. With expanded space, this year we have 46 dealers who will be working from over 157 tables of model railroad related items to sell. All of the CID shows run from 10 am to 3 pm and admission is $3 per person or $5 for you and your immediate family.  The Exhibition Hall is handicap accessible and has plenty of free parking.  At the show, you will find operating model train layouts from G to N scales.  For the experienced or those just getting started, at 11:00, you will find a clinic on layout design and at
2:00, a clinic on running your trains, DC, DCC, or dead rail battery.
There will be a Dining car where snacks and/or lunch can be purchased. The Dining car has always had a variety of food and drinks.  If you have any interest in model trains, this family friendly show is for you.  Put us on your calendar and I will look forward to seeing you there!
