Need some direction
« on: October 13, 2018, 02:57:55 PM »
Sometime before Christmas 2018 I will be conveying my 1950s-era Lionel trainset to my 1 year-old grandnephew in Indianapolis (NW).  Trains have not been run in 30-40 years, and I would very much appreciate suggestions for an expert who could assess things and provide any necessary maintenance or whatever is needed...Thank you.

If you live in or near Indy, I know of a guy I send my American Flyer to who also works on Lionel who does great work at a great price.

You could also check with Train Central on East Washington Street as well, He has a Person who works on O Gauge as well.

I believe Train Central's repairman is the same person Wema mentioned previously.
