Story in Star on Kingsland interurban crash
« on: September 24, 2018, 09:12:57 AM »
There is a story in Sunday's Indianapolis Star about the infamous interurban crash at Kingsland. Interesting story. Incidentally, Craig Berndt gave an excellent program to our group in Indianapolis about the crash.

They print the same story every year...sadly this year they used a very poor quality photo to accompany the article. Glad to see the Star continue to publish Interurban related articles.

There aren't that many good photos of the crash to publish.

The Indy Star report is reasonably accurate.  The impact of this photo -- 40 people compressed into less than 15 ft. -- renders the dozen or so other exceptional photos redundant.
