A look at what railroads where like
« on: September 18, 2018, 05:12:40 PM »
Just came across a YouTube video titled “A railroad at work” Milwaukee road 1946.  Very impressive at what they use to do and how many they employed.  Heck, they even had their own laundry services which I never knew.  It’s about 25 mins so short but informative.

A good one to see the bad old days of railroading - if you are on Facebook, look for a group called Classic Streamliners - they have a video posted called "Penn Central 1974 - An appeal for help"  It's a 30 minute "documentary" begging the federal government, local government, anyone who would listen for help.
