587 on Bob & Tom
« on: August 17, 2018, 06:24:35 PM »
The postings of 587 in better times on another post made me think of this audio YouTube clip of when the Bob & Tom Show rode in 587ís cab from the whistle stop location to the fairgrounds.  Makes me laugh every time.

I remember recording this on my tape recorder back when it was live on the radio, so this would've been in the mid 90's sometime (93-4-5?Somewhere in there).  Thanks for the stroll down amnesia lane.

Wonder what will come of 587, Since it has went to the Museum in Kentucky. Some wonder if it may ever return to Indiana. Only Time will tell. My Feelings are No it won't. It has set at ITM with the Rebuild not getting done in a Timely Matter and those Folks Down There in Ravenna Kentucky want to see it Run along with the C&O 2-8-4 2716 Steam Locomotive.
