I've run a search on IRBS, but no result and in case this topic has been posted elsewhere, I would be interested to find out any further info as to why the Loco is running on CSS metals. Paul

Itís surplus to the needs of the LIRC

LIRC just got a couple six axles

Same parent company.

Saw this last week on a css freight train shoving out of commercial yard through Pullman jct in Chicago.  Wondered what it was doing in the mix

I do like the heritage paint scheme that the L&I has used, to pay homage to the Pennsylvania Railroad and their ownership of the line.
