Where am I? Ohio Version (Solved)
« on: April 23, 2018, 09:10:07 AM »
I am across the border in Ohio. Part of my mainline is still in to the north and south but here it is abandoned. Where am I and what railroad was I built for?

Is it the Cincinnati Northern, somewhere between Ansonia and Celina, say over the north fork of the Stillwater Creek?

DT&I, somewhere between Leipsic and north of Lima, where it was abandoned in favor of trackage rights over the B&O?

No. I studied the picture and the more I studied it, the more I thought it looked like some other bridges I'd seen along the DT&I.  Then, with your clues, I started narrowing down north-south lines over the border in Ohio.  I didn't think it was a CN bridge and I sure didn't think it was a Clover Leaf bridge.  Besides, those properties are more abandoned than not, so I thought it didn't fit in with your clue.

Thanks for the Ohio test, most Indiana tests are far beyond any knowledge I have of Indiana, if they're not northeast, I usually don't have a clue.

Just building on what Wes has said, it definitely appears from Google Maps that this is the DT&I over Cranberry Creek between Ottawa and Columbus Grove.
