What ever happen to the 587? Did the ITM screw around and loose it?

No, in fact ITM owns it. Last I saw it was still in pieces, in the process of being reassembled. The goal was to have the restoration complete next fall for its 100th birthday.

The last time I saw it, it was over at Monticello Illinois along I-72 at the museum behind the shop sitting under a ripped up blue tarp!
