Welcome to the group. Hope we can answer some of your questions.

When I get a little more time I will try to gather some information to send to you. It may not be much. William Barker's son, Samuel Barker married Mary King and their daughter, Anna Maria married Dr. Henry Slaughter Bell, my great-grandfather.

It is sort of a long story about my grandfather's going to college in Philadelphia but my family came back to Evansville in 1958. I do not remember the Barker School but one of my older brothers might.
