I used to deliver RC cola  back in 1987 I went in this depot and there was trash all over the floor.I picked up 4 waybills from 1965  one dated 10-27-65 consigned to st Joe paper company Hartford city Indiana From st Joe paper company st Joe Florida Boxcar MP 80073  Routed AN SAL Col (Columbus Georgia I think ,AN Apalachicola northern?) Sou system Cinncinnati PRR .        Freight charges 497 dollars  contents rolls of paper  weight 69,525 pounds.         #2 Dated 7-6-65 consigned to 3M  from The new Jersey zinc company Button wood New Jersey Routed Central new Jersey railroad Button wood To PRR  Boxcar Illinois Central 118205, 800 Bags of zinc oxide weighing 40600 pounds freight charges 328.89             #3  dated 10-28-65 Consigned to Overhead door Hartford city Indiana From United states plywood Corporation Catawba South Carolina . Routed Seaboard air line to Atlanta L&N To Cincinnati PRR  weight 68300Pounds freight charges 409.50  Boxcar SAL 16342       #4 Dated 2-25-64  consigned to St Joe paper company  Hartford city  Format Joe paper company st Joe Florida  Routed AN Chattahoochee SAL Colombus SAL /Sou Ry Sys Cinncinnati PRR 24 Rolls of pulpboard weight 58130 pounds 459.23 freight charges Boxcar Wabash 6649 .          This was a very small sample please of what was on the floor I went back about maybe 2006  or something like that and the ceiling had fallen down so I suppose all that paperwork was under that.

I don,t know who is restoring this depot,but I would be happy to give them these 4   waybills if they do not have any. The Depot looks great for me it is nice to have or see something from Hartford city that was on the Railroad and not on a truck also some of the mystery of what went on behind the scenes from different parts of the country and to think of the station agents  where these carloads originated  as well as Hartford City that they typed up and  that was in  a caboose with 100  or so other pieces of like paper that corresponded with  a train
