C&O
« on: June 30, 2014, 08:03:41 PM »
Found this today in my travels.  Car is bad order for gates, which can be fixed.  CSXT has decided not to repair and will scrap.  Anybody want it?  OK, let me rephrase, anybody willing to PURCHASE it - I can probably broker a sale on it - probably looking $10-11 K range as is where is. Can arrange repairs and transport too.

How much for you to save the logo only? Torch cut around it maybe?

Or are you not the scrapper?

Found this car on a NB CSX freight here on the CE&D sub.  There is also a B&O one running around.   I'll have to pass on your offer Scrap!  ;)

Why not buy it and re-purpose it scrap? A little C&O in your fleet sounds good to me!  ;D

I was, until I saw the "K" in the price.   :o  I though 1:87 scale prices were high.  Oh well, back to reality.   8)
