No, the next time it will be running is when 765 goes up to train expo, no idea when, sometime in June before the expo

Are they still open on Saturday where a visitor could look around?

I believe so. I'm sure they are still open to the public on weekends.

No way to know, especially this far out, but "normal" procedure for events in the midwest has been that they leave two days before the event starts.  As an example, for the Saturday-Sunday Elkhart to Bryan trips, they left on Thursday morning.  No warranty expressed or implied, and your mileage may vary.  ;)

What happened to these events?  Haven't heard or seen a single thing about them for over a month.

Nothing new in the members area of their site either. Last report was a third party was delaying things, and that was posted May 29th.

So will the 765 be running July 19th through August 9th from Logansport to Kokomo Indiana? Have not seen any updates about the Public Excursions.

I would say no since it's kind of late in the game to announce it. I hope they understand that some folks work for a living and have to request time off to go on these trips.

We were wondering because we have a Copy of the FWRHS 2014 Summer Operating Schedule and it showed the 765 Operating on those Weekends from July 19 -Aug 9th. When we had not seen it listed anymore we thought we had better check it out and see if those Trips were still going to happen. We had planned on going up and getting photos of it.

Yeah no one knows and that is just weird with the trips supposedly in a few weeks. I hope they do something soon, but I don't think I can go.  :(

Talk on a railfan group page on Facebook that covers Logansport and Kokomo is if they don't happen it's probably because US Rail and G&W couldn't agree.

The 765 trips from Logansport-Kokomo unfortunately are a no-go.

Just a hunch, but my guess you have to go a little higher up the food chain that US Rail or G&W to find a reason.  In other words, suck it up, smile, and hope for next year.  :-X
