Worked the line, but no clue who he was.  Never heard the name or last name uttered.

Would be interesting to know what the story is behind Mr. Kelley's demise, I'll bet a search of records in Hoopeston would reveal something, would date from the days when crews ran from Tipton, IN, to Rankin, IL, Hoopeston just being inside the Illinois line.  There was an interlocking in Hoopeston, believe the line still survives today as the UP.

I have done a internet search, but nothing showed up.
Someone put flowers on the grave every year, so must be some family in the area.
The Tipton County Historical Society has no information.
