Meanwhile, the North end is busy (on a Monday night, no less).
Between 1730 and 2230

L69, M96, EB grain, 143, 216, 190?, 197, 288, 174, 25J, 177, and 282.  I might have missed one in there before heading to bed.

Just heard 2 meet at West Noell, the EB told the WB good luck with Fort Wayne, its an absolute MESS.

Speaking of which, the dispatcher told 196 that their train would die before they got into the Fort due to the yard being full. I'm assuming that means that their 12 hours would be up. What's going on? I was very surprised to see 25J following 288 today. Usually that's a late night train, isn't it?

Maybe NS is trying to compress the schedule to give the tie gang a bigger window to work?

The dispatcher let 288 go around 174 at Kingsland because 177 was still swapping crews and adding a locomotive on the Pennsy.  Very unusual evening on the NCD.

I think the tie gang window has really cramped things up.  Notice the ATCS is pretty dead except for a couple moves on and off the Frankfort and the locals.   Right now there are only 3 trains showing from Montpelier to Camden!  2 at Royerton and 1 at West Noell.
Haven't had the radio on, but I'm betting the one WB at Royerton won't move til evening, same for the WB at Noell unless its going toward Frankfort or Marion Branch.

WB at Royerton tied down, the WB at Noell is lined to Frankfort (probably 124) and then the two EB's have moved south, one at Millville the other south of Oakville as of 1245pm

Two eastbounds are Probably 251 and 25A. They almost always get them through if nothing else.

I am pretty sure 251 was ahead of that, and I believe the first of the two was the 25A, not sure what the second one was.

The first EB is lined through Muncie, he is lined from Royerton all the way to Richmond, nothing between those points either.  Another EB lined behind him coming through Eaton now.  The first one has the switch lined in at Richmond, but no indication.  Nothing lined WB south of there.

Is it 197? I just heard it over the scanner. If not, what kind of train?

4611 (TransCAER) is back again. Sitting on the Manville lead with two hopper cars behind it and a GP60 on the rear.

Here are some photos from Monday night when it was here. Daylight photos will come later.
