Prospects of the 587
« on: March 21, 2018, 07:00:23 PM »
I myself haven't exactly been keeping up with the news on the ITM. Last I heard of the 587, it was near completion in terms of restoration. Now that they're relocating, will they be able to take the big Mike with them and continue their efforts?

Thought it was a light Mike?

No where near finished. AFAIK, flue tubes were never installed, firebox not done, etc., lots of mechanical and reassembly, testing, paint....
